Building BrAve Teams understands the challenges faced by children affected by unexpected medical diagnoses. That's why we utilize the real life experiences of real people in our programs. Being a child immersed in the medical world consistently can be an overwhelming and frightening experience, often leading to traumatic outcomes. However, through our BrAve Team series of books, we aim to alleviate this fear by removing stigmas and empowering children to build their own BrAve Team by teaching them who to look for and rely on in times of need!
What is a
team?
A BrAve Team is made up of medical professionals, loved ones, neighbors, and even strangers who have supported you during your challenging medical journey. These individuals are the cream of the crop, the top picks, and the kind-hearted heroes who help you navigate the toughest days… they put the “A” in BrAve Team!
